The Ben

The Ben is the Scottish Licensed Trade Benevolent Society, a Scottish drinks industry charity, here to care for the people of the licensed trade.

The Ben under various guises has been in operation since 1864, and supports former and current members of our trade facing financial, social and emotional difficulties.

The Ben supports HIT Scotland’s Drinks scholarships, helping to grow the skills and knowledge for those working in the drinks industry.
