Patrick has been involved in the hotel and catering field since 1975, mostly with highly respected international companies, including Mandarin International Hotels (now Mandarin Oriental Hotels), Orient Express Hotels, the Old Course Hotel and Gleneagles Hotel plc.

He is currently the Operations Director/General Manager of Gleneagles Hotel, Auchterarder, Scotland.

Patrick has been a great supporter of the charity and recently joined the charity in 2005 as a Trustee.
