The Four Poofs make a HIT in Glasgow with their piano!

RECORD FUNDRAISING EVENT FOR HIT SCOTLAND

Four Poofs and a Piano, the house band on the hugely successful BBC1 Jonathan Ross Show, made a real hit with the Scottish hospitality industry when they played at the sell-out Hospitality Industry Trust Scotland's (HIT) POETS lunch, held at Glasgow's Radisson Hotel on Friday 7th of September.

The camp musicians, who are famous for their customised interpretation of well known tunes, thrilled the crowd as the event went on to break previous HIT event records raising £46,450.

All monies raised will be used to help young people entering the hospitality industry and those in the industry who are looking to develop their career. Full details on the range of scholarships and bursaries are available via the website www.hitscotland.org.

David Cochrane, Chief Executive of HIT commented "We nearly doubled last year's event total and it is great to see people being so generous. Everyone had a great afternoon, did some networking and possibly a little bit of business but most importantly they came together to show their support for the hospitality industry as a whole."
