Swisscom welcomed as new corporate sponsor

A subsidiary of one of Europe’s leading telecommunications companies, Swisscom Hospitality Services has invested in the Hospitality Industry Trust (HIT) Scotland’s scholarship and bursary programmes.

Joining as a corporate sponsor, Swisscom Hospitality Services support HIT Scotland’s aim to improve aspirations and standards in the industry. Every year HIT Scotland’s bursaries help thousands of students facing financial difficulty. The emerging talent scholarship scheme looks to inspire the leaders of tomorrow through money can’t buy experiences and placements on international training courses.

Swisscom Hospitality Services are specialists in designing, building and managing hotel networks including internet and intranet services. In their Swiss home market, Swisscom are responsible for the country’s telecommunications infrastructure with fibre-optic cables reaching two million households as well as creating tailored network solutions for corporate clients.

David Hill, UK Sales Director from Swisscom Hospitality Services, said, “Information technology and communication is the foundation of a successful hotel.
