Another group of HIT scholars have returned from the Art of Leadership course at Lausanne Hotel School in Switzerland, reinvigorated for their career here in Scotland and full of inspiration.
Putting people at the heart of your organisation was an important lesson for the course, and is something our scholars have commented they will focus on in their jobs. Interpersonal skills and communicating with others was also key, with the scholars learning to be more emotionally intelligent and self aware with colleagues at all levels. We look forward to seeing how they all put their training into practice.
The trip involved a visit to the Domaine du Daley vineyards, a memorable time for Emma Stewart of The Gleneagles Hotel who was on the course and sent us this photo: “Sitting at Domaine du Daley in stunning sunshine, drinking Chasselas with 18 new friends, looking over gorgeous Lake Geneva and the French Alps. What a moment!”
