After years of deliberation, Robert Burns has decided to sell his Scottish haggis & tatties business, Armour & Burns Limited. He has had approaches from several buyers in the past but has finally agreed to follow up the latest approach from his competitor, Shanter & Co.
The board of Shanter & Co. has been looking to grow its neeps business for some time and has approached Armour & Burns again to see if it is interested in selling. To its surprise, Robert has said yes… Robert and his co-directors and the board of Shanter & Co. have agreed to meet to consider how they might do a deal.
Do you want to hear how the story finishes and be part of that story?
If so, come along to MacRoberts' Glasgow office on 27th February 2014 when you will, for a few hours, become a member of one of the boards to consider the Deal. You will have an experienced M&A lawyer to help your board consider the Deal.
Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to agree heads of terms with the other side in the time allocated.
As you might expect, the Deal is a bit more complex than it first appears...
